Joining and logging in
How new members join
Section titled “How new members join”Members sign up at https://ohs.org.uk/join.
After clicking Continue to payment, they are sent to Stripe to pay. Once payment is complete, they are returned to the member login page.
They will receive two emails:
- Welcome to Oral History Society — confirms their WordPress account has been created.
- Stripe receipt — confirms their payment.
They can log in immediately with the username and password they just created.
How existing members log in

How members reset their password
Section titled “How members reset their password”Members who have forgotten their password can reset it at https://ohs.org.uk/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword. They will receive an email with a reset link.
What if a member has lost access to their email address?
Section titled “What if a member has lost access to their email address?”Account recovery is difficult, as with any online service. If a member cannot access their account because their email address has changed or been lost, verify their identity carefully before making any changes (see How to change a member’s email address).
