Monthly maintenance reports
Sarah Tamsin Digital provides monthly maintenance reports for the OHS website. These reports are generated at the end of each calendar month and cover all maintenance activity carried out during that period.
Where to find the reports
Section titled “Where to find the reports”All monthly reports are available to download from the shared Google Drive folder.
What the reports contain
Section titled “What the reports contain”Every report follows a standard format and includes the following sections:
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Basic information about the website including the URL, server IP address and the current WordPress version.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”A summary of how many updates were performed during the month, broken down into plugin updates and theme updates. A full update history table lists every plugin and theme that was updated, showing the previous version, the new version and the date of the update.
Backups
Section titled “Backups”The number of backups created during the month, the total number of backups available, and details of the latest backup including its size, the WordPress version at the time, the number of published posts, active plugins and the active theme.
Analytics
Section titled “Analytics”A high-level summary of website traffic compared to the previous period, showing the percentage change in sessions along with a sessions graph.
Database optimisation
Section titled “Database optimisation”Details of any database overhead that was cleaned during the month to keep the site running efficiently.
Post revisions
Section titled “Post revisions”The number of post revisions cleaned up to reduce database bloat.
Custom work
Section titled “Custom work”A table of any custom tasks carried out during the month, such as bug fixes, new features or member support queries. Each entry includes the task type, a description and the date it was completed.
