Viewing groups in the users table
The WordPress admin users table includes custom columns that make it easy to see group membership relationships at a glance.
Custom columns
Section titled “Custom columns”When you go to Users > All Users (or filter by the Member role), you will see four extra columns alongside the standard WordPress columns:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Membership Number | The member’s unique OHS number (e.g. OHS00042). Sortable. |
| Membership Tier | The member’s current tier (e.g. group-uk, individual-uk). Sortable. |
| Company | The company or organisation name, if provided. |
| Group Leader | The name of the group leader this member belongs to, or — if not part of a group. |
How the Group Leader column works
Section titled “How the Group Leader column works”The Group Leader column shows the relationship between group members and their leaders:
- For a group leader — the column shows — because they are not a sub-member of anyone else.
- For a sub-member — the column shows the first and last name of their group leader, so you can immediately see which group they belong to.
- For individual members — the column shows — as they are not part of any group.
Identifying group leaders
Section titled “Identifying group leaders”Group leaders do not have a separate label in the Group Leader column. To identify who is a group leader, look at the Membership Tier column:
group-uk— UK group leadergroup-international— International group leader
Their sub-members will have the tier group-member and will show the leader’s name in the Group Leader column.
Sorting and searching
Section titled “Sorting and searching”The Membership Number and Membership Tier columns can be sorted by clicking the column header. This is useful for:
- Sorting by tier to see all group leaders or all group members together.
- Sorting by membership number to find recently registered members.
